26th January- Republic Day celebration

Kids ought to know about the importance of Republic Day which is celebrated on 26th January every year. It is undoubtedly one of India’s most important national events. At Tarang, we celebrated Republic Day with great gusto and excitement. We had various activities like speech competition, essay writing and spelling he words. There were about 100 kids who participated in the event. The turnout was indeed remarkable!

The event was well-managed and handled by Sarita Mishra and Vandana Shah in coordination with the two young and dynamic volunteers Vidya and Sneha , they deserve a mention here. Gifts were distributed to make the event even more special and exciting. It was organized with an intention to boost kids’ desire to study – It served the purpose effectively. All the kids excelled – they performed way beyond our expectations. They surpassed our expectations! Some of them came up with beautiful poetries too, this added cherry on the cake. The Republic Day event was a roaring success!

14th November2010- Children’s Day celebrated

Tarang’s curriculum not only focuses on education but on the overall development of kids. We regularly review our curriculum to ensure it facilitates overall growth and development in kids. We make sure we organize a host of activities and events to make education fun for children. Children’s Day was celebrated with this perspective in mind. Kids were made to feel exceptionally special and loved. To say that they thoroughly enjoyed the event would be an understatement. It was celebrated with great gusto and fanfare.

We know to arouse interest and curiosity in children. After all, it is the only way to generate interest in education. We had quite a few competitions including essay writing, extempore and speech. Kids showed tremendous interest, joy and excitement. They exhibited heightened enthusiasm. They participated wholeheartedly and enthusiastically in each and every event. Some of them spoke exceptionally well – it actually came as a surprise to us. They could beautifully express their emotions through essay writing and extempore.

The purpose of the program was successfully accomplished by Vandana Shah and Sarita Mishra. This event made kids feel comfortable in their skin. It made them feel confident and self-assured. They were highly motivated and inspired. They got a chance to exhibit their creativity and enhance their skills.
